Praying 🙏🏾 for spiritual eyes....

I was going to my quarterly ophthalmology (eye) appointment with my ophthalmologist when I heard the Lord say the word “Light”. Because I was wearing my signature sunshades, I thought the Lord meant sunlight. I then readjusted my sunshades on my face to shield my eyes from the glaring sun. As I entered the ophthalmologist’s office which is in an improvised, drug infested, high crime area I heard the song 🎵 “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” I saw a wall mounted computer screen virtually proclaiming the scripture “I am the light of the world. He who follows me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life” John 8:12. My ophthalmologist is a renowned Broad Certified Ophthalmologist who has CHOSEN to open his second medical office in this impoverished area.  He utilizes his God giving healing powers to evangelize to his patients through gospel music 🎵 proclaiming God’s love, encouragement, and hope. The gospel is shared through the preached sermons 📖 of Dr Charles Stanley and the continuous display of scriptures on the computer screen. He witnessed to me about the attributes of a living Savior before examining my eyes. He laid his hands on me while praying for the healing of my eyesight and again when administering diagnostic eye drops to my eyes.  He provides excellent physical eye health care and teachings to all his patients. Additionally, he is using his practice to spread the gospel to all who walks through his door.  Glory 🙌🏽 be to God on this visit my bi-lateral glaucoma was healed and I do not have to use my previously prescribed eye medication any longer Amen. The Holy Spirit spoke the word “light” to me as a remembrance that Jesus is the author of life and also to tell me not only that Jesus is alive, he is also the source of spiritual life.  My doctor used the privilege and power of prayer for his patients who are unbelievers to open their spiritual eyes and except Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. He uses the same spiritual tools to remind his patients who are believers like me of God’s Grace, Mercy and faithfulness. Alma Brannum, March 2022
